These terms apply to the text message (SMS) program operated by Value Detroit LLC ("Value Detroit," "we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms.
Program Description
Value Detroit LLC sends account-related text messages to land contract buyers who hold an active account with us. Messages relate only to your own account and may include:
- Notice that a monthly account statement is available
- Payment due and past-due reminders
- Confirmation of payments received
- Administrative notices about your contract or property account
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.
How You Opt In
You may consent to receive text messages from us by checking the SMS consent box on the contact form at valuedetroit.net, or by agreeing in writing to receive text messages when you sign your land contract or complete our customer information form. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of entering into a contract with us.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on activity on your account. Most account holders receive between one and four messages per month.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Value Detroit LLC does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send and receive.
How to Stop Receiving Messages
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and will not receive further text messages from this program. You may also contact us using the details below to be removed.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your land contract or your obligations under it, and we will continue to contact you by mail, email or telephone as needed.
